This is a song that empathises with women who've become attached in a fling type relationship. The lyrics are so relatable to any woman who's experienced the confusion emotionally even when they tried not to.

It's that bipolar behaviour that they can't help but fall into as the ride the rollercoaster of emotions.. wanting someone but not really having them.

It's that fear of rejection. The anger and frustration that they can't control how someone else feels as they say everything they can to try and manipulate them into falling in love with them.

It's that denial of not feeling anything at all with flickers of being honest about how they feel and what they truly want.

It's the struggle to understand what is going on in a man's head and whether or not they're just afraid to fall in love.

Ending in being truly honest about how they felt and letting it go as a memory.

The flavour is deep R&B/soul influenced by the early 2000s with some soulful piano and strong vocals, with thick fluffy harmonies that feel like red wine on a cold rainy night next to the fireplace.
